Hydropower Projects
In Pakistan, the hydroelectric power plants are more than 50 years’ old which requires upgradation: modernization, digitalization and hybridization of the existing hydroelectric power plants (HPPs). The KP province, northern areas in particular and Pakistan as whole has great hydropower potentials.
Biogas
We supply, ‘Do It Yourself (DIY) kits of portable BIOGAS SYSTEMS’, the Chinese Advanced Technology: convenient to transport and easy assembly; surfaced mounted, no need for earthwork and heavy construction; to be assembled by client itself as per user manual without any training; highly efficient systems with hollow sunlight sheet green house and pad insulation and heating.

Transform Communities Across the Country
- The “Pak Renewables’ (PREL) Community Energy®”, shortly the “PREL Community Energy®”, is a subsidiary of Pak Renewables (PREL), with branches all over Pakistan, based on International Renewable Energy Authority (ARENA) Community Ownership Model; wherein Pak Renewables (Pvt.) Ltd. Islamabad and COMSATS university, Islamabad are the Business and Technology Partners respectively; wherein, the former is to execute, operate, maintain & upgrade the people’s centric clean, sustainable, and affordable energy projects, including energy efficiency & renewable energy (smart microgrids/mini-grids), environment and water resources management projects for the local communities; in which the majority share may be owned by the local communities, the main beneficiaries, including the CC&I, farmers’ associations, housing societies etc.; and the minority shares may be offered to the concerned DISCOs, and the local government bodies, COMSATS University, Pak Renewables (PREL) and other national and international stakeholders, or as otherwise negotiated.
- The “PREL Community Energy” Projects are to help clean up the utility power grids and save money for the local communities; the induction of the smart energy technologies shall be a win, win scenario for both, the utilities, and the prosumers.
